The Calm before the Storm

Having proven their worth Seraphim took it upon themselves to demonstrate their prowess. Going back to face Yogg Seron without the aid of the watches, was one of the toughest encounters ever imaginable. No matter how hard it appeared though, Yogg eventually fell. Byzana managed to hack off one of his tentacles for proof of this momentous achievement, as they were now

Onwards with the Crusade

No Comments »

After cleansing Ulduar with such ease, the gallant defenders ventured into the Icecrown Glacier itself to meet with Tirion Fordring’s new Argent Crusade and test themselves in preparation for the final assault on the Citadel.

Each of the 3 bestial creations lacklustrely fell beneath the bane of Seraphim. A brave gnome gave his life to summon a demon from beyond our world, but it too was banished back into the nether. The agent Confessor released the Twin Val’kyr, and again they soon fell to our swords. The foul and corrupt horde demanded blood, and blood we drew from them, as they were annihilated.

Even the Lich Kings reincarnation of Anub’arak was no match for the might of Seraphim. With Tirion pleased with our heroes demonstrations of power, skill and valour, the final attack awaited.

The Lich King could not remain atop his thrown forever.

Onslaught of The Lich King’s Armies and the Downfall of another Old God

2 Comments »

Stepping off the boat from Stormwind, our gallant and fearless adventurers were faced with the looming tower of Utguard Keep. After finding their feet and redeeming an ancient artefact Lord Tirion Fordring revealed himself to our heroes, to lead in the assault on the Lich King’s tower in Ice Crown Citadel.

Travelling through the zones of Northrend allowed the champions to hone and develop their skills even further, before facing one who they had thought were defeated. Kel’Thuzad…!

Ominously looming over Winterguard Keep, Kel’Thuzad has placed Naxxaramas directly in their path. Winterguard itself was defended by the elite of the Alliance; The 7th Legion had fought in such prestigious wars including The Battle of Mount Hyjal and The War of the Shifting Sands. With that knowledge in mind, the entrance of Naxxaramas awaited.

With little resistance Kel’Thuzad fell under the pressure of Seraphim, and with that a great blow was dealt to The Lich King, he now knew who fought against him. Our heroes revelled in the glory of victory, however they could not rest on their laurels as a more terrifying madness was lurking in the shadows.

Months passed but eventually word was heard from by Muradin Bronzebeard. He had found the entrance to the Titan city of Ulduar. Eager to hunt for weapons that could be used to destroy the Lich King they pressed onwards into the bowels of the city.

Mimiron’s great Flame Leviathan was easily dispatched, so too were the Furnace Master and the winged beast, Razorscale. The Iron Council, Kologarn and Auriaya easily succumbed to our warriors might. The Titan’s Guardian’s posed more of a threat, but they too were defeated. Hodir, Thorim, Freya and Mimiron himself were all freed for the madness that had taken over them; a madness that that was easily recognisable. For those who had fought in the War of the Shifting Sands all of the signs were there. Ulduar was no mere city; it was a prison and a prison for an Old God no less. General Vezaxx stood between us and the rumoured Yogg-Saron, but he was no mere match. Venturing deep into the depths of Uduar the prison of Yogg-Saron awaited our fearless adventurers. Having only faced one Old God before, this was a creature that could not be underestimated.

They knew that the Old God would not initially present itself, and that they would have to battle through visions of madness and defeat all manner of creature to force the beast to show its true face. Pressing forward the Warriors, Rogues, melee Shaman’s and Death Knights battled madness to press Yogg-Saron to reveal itself, while the ranged casters fought against the fearsome tentacles driving them all slowly insane. Eventually Yogg-Saron was forced to lift its head from the murky depths of its hiding place. Aided by the Guardians that had been freed from Yogg-Saron’s influence it was easily defeated and Ulduar cleansed;

or so they thought……

From the darkness of the Void comes the light of Seraphim….!

No Comments »

A great number of months have past since we last caught up with the hero’s of Void. We last saw them defeating the generals of Kil’jaeden; however shortly after freeing Kalecgos from demonic control the ranks of Void began to thin and they were no longer able to progress further into The Sunwell Plateaux, instead relying on their brethren in other guilds to prevent Kil’jaeden from entering our reality.

While the hero’s of Lordaeron toiled to defeat Kil’jaeden a greater enemy plotted the destruction of all life on Azeroth. Seizing the opportunity, The Lich King mobilised his armies strategically attacking vantage points in the world. His initially attack was repelled and we found ourselves travelling to the cold of the Northern lands, to take the battle to Arthas’ doorstep.

During the journey to the North many of the heroes of Void fell by the way side. And the decision was made to begin a fresh. With such a dark and fearsome enemy looming on the horizon, no longer could we hide in the shadows and fight under the banner of Void. With great regret and remembrance to those that remained in the dark abyss, a few journeyed the fire and darkness to be reborn on Vek’nilash grouped together under the banner of the greatest of the warriors of light;

Seraphim was born…
